Join us for our monthly South Sudanese Christian Worship. St. Paul is blessed to have many members who have immigrated from the South Sudan. We are a welcoming home for all refugees and immigrants, but because of the doors God has opened for us, we are closely connected to the South Sudanese community in Ottawa.
Every month we have an afternoon (2pm) worship service in the Nuer language, which includes songs and bible readings. St. Paul’s South Sudanese evangelist, Jacob Luk, leads worship and devotions in the Nuer language, and Pastor Thompson and Pastor Goetzinger provide an English-language sermon and blessing.
We also have an annual South Sudanese Christmas service, and host many other events for the African communities of Ottawa. For our next worship time, please visit our church calendar. To learn about our South Sudanese worship and community service, please join us for worship and meet Jacob Luk, or email us at St. Paul.
St. Paul also has an active Nuer-language choir which have sung at many worship events, including St. Paul's Christmas and Easter services. And twice a month, St. Paul hosts a Nuer-language bible studies, currently on Saturday evenings. Email St. Paul to ask for times.
